Requirements: Salesforce Certified Administrator (essential)Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification desirableSubstantial, senior-level experience as a Salesforce Administrator with day-to-day platform ownershipStrong hands-on configuration skills, including Flow Builder, validation rules, page layouts, reports and dashboards, and the security modelExperience managing or mentoring more junior team members, formally or informallyWorking knowledge of Apex and Lightning Components sufficient to review and QA changesFamiliarity with deployment tools such as Copado or GearsetComfortable working within Agile ways of working and structured change control processesExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working with Salesforce managed packages is a plus Responsibilities: Own day-to-day Salesforce administration, configuration and maintenance across Sales, Service and Field Service CloudsBuild and maintain complex automation using Flow Builder, validation rules and other declarative toolsReview Apex and Lightning Component changes where requiredManage and mentor a small team of Salesforce administrators and support analysts, overseeing workload, quality of output and professional developmentTriage and resolve complex user support escalations across Salesforce and integrated systemsPartner with the Solutions Architect to translate architecture and solution designs into configured, tested platform changesManage user access, the security model, profiles, permission sets and data integrityDeploy platform changes through the development pipeline in line with change control protocolsMaintain up-to-date system documentation, configuration records and standard operating proceduresSupport release management activities and assess the impact of new Salesforce releases on existing configurationEngage with external partners and vendors on delivery standards and timelinesIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation and technical debt reduction Technologies: ApexArchitectFlowSupportSalesforceSecurityCloud More:
Our client is a major UK housebuilder with an ambitious technology transformation underway, and this is a brand-new role at the heart of a growing Salesforce team. The position is hybrid in Edinburgh, with a minimum of two days per week on-site, and offers a salary of up to £62,000.
