Salary: £90,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience training and fine-tuning LLMs or multimodal models, not just consuming APIsA solid understanding of model evaluation and validation, overfitting and bias/variance trade-offs, and data quality and feature engineeringProficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlowExperience building and maintaining ML pipelines in productionFamiliarity with GPU usage and optimisationThe ability to debug and improve model performance systematicallyKnowledge of distributed training or large-scale data processingExperience with MLOps tools, including CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking, and model versioningA background in applied research or publishingFamiliarity with retrieval systems, embeddings, or ranking modelsA maths or computer science research background with a focus on developing new algorithms or techniques for training and deploying AI models Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end LLM training pipelinesSource and, where appropriate, preprocess datasets for training and evaluationFine-tune and optimise open weight models, including LLMs, vision, or traditional MLBuild evaluation frameworks and define performance metricsDevelop and maintain data pipelines and training workflowsAnalyse training pipelines and optimise for latency, cost, and scalabilityImplement monitoring, logging, and feedback loops for continuous improvementExperiment with modern AI tooling and services to assess how they can be leveraged Technologies: AICI/CDFine-tuningLLMMachine LearningMLOpsPyTorchPythonTensorFlow More:
