Job summary
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our Care team within a multi-award-winning organisation.
This is a vital role focused on supporting residents to live meaningful and fulfilling lives within a safe and caring environment.
Working on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends, you will deliver high-quality care services to excellent standards within our care homes.
The role involves assisting residents with personal care, medication, and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
You will also provide companionship and support engagement in activities to enhance quality of life.
This position is for an average of 42 hours per week on a two-week rota, working 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am, including weekends.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents in a care home setting.
You will provide high-quality care, including personal care, medication support, and assistance with daily living activities, while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
The role also involves offering companionship, supporting engagement in activities, and contributing to a positive and supportive environment.
Ideal candidates will have or be willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, demonstrate empathy and integrity, and be flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
