QA RBFA TECHNICAL OPERATOR
• Basic Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the initial reject analysis of products at Final Test
• Reporting Relationship
The position reports to the QA/QC Supervisor or Section Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs basic failure analysis on Final Test rejects such as: • X-ray • SAT • External/Internal Visual Inspection • Decapsulation • Cratering Test
• Identifies basic failure mechanisms seen during inspection • Performs documentation and writes technical reports • Provides support on engineering evaluations (for Internal and External) • Creates and maintains an excel database with the appropriate manufacturing flow and machine/equipment numbers for next level of analysis/ investigation. • Calculates RBFA ppm metrics and generates reports on a periodic basis or as required by the Quality Engineer • Updates system transactions for suspected maverick lots • Participates in company-initiated and plant-wide activities • Provides the results of the analysis to Operations (Manufacturing/Engineering)
• Education • Has completed at least 3 years of college education or technology background
• Experience • At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor assembly or final test operations
• Skills/Requirement • Strong knowledge in internal and external visual/mechanical criteria • Has a clear vision and have the ability to exercise good judgment to accept or reject based on the internal and external visual/mechanical specifications • Can perform x-ray inspection, chemical de-processing and internal visual inspection. • Has keen analytical and qualitative skills, good interpersonal and communication skills and can work with minimal supervision • Has knowledge on computer systems and able to generate reports and be able to communicate appropriately
