Job Title: BuyerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Buyer for a 3-month assignment to support our procurement operations. The role is crucial to managing increased demand due to our Oracle system implementation and extended inventory lead times. As a Buyer, you will independently handle purchasing requests, manage external purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires transactional proficiency, not strategic planning.Responsibilities
• Manage internal purchasing requests independently. • Generate and oversee external purchase orders. • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Navigate outside standard procedures using sound judgment when necessary. • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and subcontractors to support control solutions. Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. • Experience with ERP systems. • Basic Excel skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. • Proficiency with Oracle systems. • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is primarily in-office, with flexibility for a hybrid model if needed. The work involves using technologies such as Oracle and Excel. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hannibal, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
