Lead Security Installation Technician Location: Commercial project sites throughout the areaEmployment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview We are seeking a Lead Security Installation Technician to join a growing team supporting enterprise-level security projects. This position is ideal for an experienced Lead Technician or a strong Level II Technician looking to take the next step into a leadership role.The ideal candidate will have experience installing, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning commercial access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems while leading installation teams and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation teams on commercial security projects • Install, terminate, configure, test, and commission security systems • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documentation • Supervise project activities and provide onsite leadership • Coordinate project workflow and track installation progress • Perform troubleshooting and system diagnostics • Support customer systems through remote troubleshooting when necessary • Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction throughout project execution • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members • Work independently with minimal supervision Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial security systems • Minimum 3 years of experience leading projects or supervising installation teams • Experience with: • Access Control Systems • IP Video Surveillance Systems • Intrusion Detection Systems • IP-Based Cameras • Alarm Systems

• Working knowledge of IP networking • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Excellent communication and organizational abilities • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience or certification with any of the following platforms is highly desired: Access Control

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
