REMOTE, 1st shift hours EST, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 5pm
MUST HAVES: Insurance Follow Up Fighting denied claims with insurance companies Writing Appeas Medical billing process from start to finish
Job Duties: Perform follow-up on straightforward insurance and patient balances Work basic claim edits and clearinghouse rejections Verify patient demographics and insurance information Submit corrected claims for minor errors (e.g., demographics, eligibility) Document all account activity accurately in the system Generate standard patient correspondence and statements Escalate complex denials or issues to higher-level staff
