DescriptionProject: Large-Scale Logistics System ModernizationJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Specialist to support the modernization of a major logistics enterprise. The specialist will be a key member of a transformation and integration team, responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of a new Oracle SaaS-based logistics management system. This role focuses on aligning the system's out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities with business requirements, driving process re-engineering, and ensuring the solution meets the strategic objectives of the program. Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion experience required.Key Responsibilities:o Business Process Analysis and Re-engineering:o Analyze and document current ("As-Is") logistics and supply chain business processes within legacy systems.o Conduct fit-gap analysis to compare business needs against the native capabilities of the Oracle SaaS solution, identifying areas for process improvement and minimizing technical customization.o Design and develop optimized ("To-Be") business process maps and workflows that align with industry best practices and leverage standard Oracle SaaS functionality.o Business Requirements Management:o Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional requirements.o Manage and govern the requirements lifecycle, ensuring all requirements are captured, tracked, and traced within a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).o Review inbound functional requirements and recommend changes to underlying business processes and/or policies to enable use of Oracle Fusion OOTB capabilities, challenging requests for customization and guiding stakeholders toward standard solutions.o System and Solution Analysis:o Act as a subject matter expert on the Oracle SaaS solution's logistics and supply chain modules.o Provide functional support for testing activities, including facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets business intent and complies with all relevant policies and requirements.o Analyze and de-conflict organizational policies, directives, and procedures that may hinder the adoption of modern, industry-standard logistics processes.o Data and Compliance:o Support the implementation of a data governance and management plan to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accountable property data within the new system.o Assist in documenting and mapping key security, compliance, and auditability requirements to the system design.Additional Skills & QualificationsQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.• Proven experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant or Specialist, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud SaaS applications (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, ERP).• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and process re-engineering.• Expertise in translating business needs into functional requirements and managing them throughout a project lifecycle.• Familiarity with Agile or Lean-Agile project management methodologies.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advocate for standard solutions over customization.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required (level: Secret). Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tysons, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
