Job Title: MIG Welder Shift: Weekday and Weekend shifts available-Weekday: 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs-Weekend: 6am-6:30pm Fri-Sun (36 hours, paid for 40)Pay: $25/hrLocation: Ocala, FL (34475)Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for assembling and welding metal components using detailed schematics and blueprints. The MIG Welder performs high-quality welds in all structural positions on steel materials, ensuring durable and precise assemblies that meet established specifications and standards.Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to assemble trailer components accurately. • Perform MIG welding on steel materials in accordance with specifications and established procedures. • Weld in all structural positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. • Fit, align, and assemble components prior to welding to ensure proper fit and structural integrity. • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality. • Adjust heat and speed settings on welding machines to achieve proper penetration and weld quality. • Use fabrication techniques to prepare, position, and secure workpieces before welding. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while handling greasy and dirty parts safely. Essential Skills

• Proven experience with MIG welding on steel-to-steel applications. • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. • Proficiency in MIG welding in all structural positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for fabrication and assembly. • Skill in adjusting heat and wire speed settings on MIG welding equipment. • Hands-on experience in welding and fabrication work in an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality and adherence to standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with flux core welding processes. • Background in general fabrication work, including fitting and aligning components. • Familiarity with blueprint reading for trailer or structural assemblies. • Willingness to learn and operate additional equipment such as a drill press and ironworker. • Comfort working with new machinery and updated facilities. Uniforms are available for purchase to support appropriate work attire. Scheduling options include a weekday shift and a weekend shift, with one option running Monday through Thursday and another weekend shift running from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, where employees work 36 hours and receive pay for 40 hours. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
