Injection Molding Set-Up Technician Weekend Shift Opportunities Available! Take Your Injection Molding Career to the Next Level Are you an experienced Set-Up Technician with a passion for process optimization, troubleshooting, and advanced manufacturing technology? What You'll Do As an Injection Molding Set-Up Technician, you'll be responsible for machine setups, mold changeovers, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient, high-quality production. Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate injection molding machines, robotics, and automation equipment • Perform mold changeovers and prepare machines for production runs • Establish and adjust processing parameters including temperature, pressure, cycle times, and feed rates • Monitor molding processes and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality • Troubleshoot molding defects including: • Flash • Short shots • Discoloration • Warping and deformation
• Conduct quality inspections to verify products meet customer and engineering specifications • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and scrap reduction • Develop and maintain setup documentation, procedures, and work instructions • Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and technical documentation • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure operational success What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting plastic manufacturing equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Experience with mold changeovers and process adjustments • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and manufacturing standards • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a production environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications
• Injection molding experience preferred • Candidates with blow molding or thermoforming experience are encouraged to apply • Experience with process optimization and cycle time improvements • Familiarity with robotics and automated manufacturing systems • Experience with Arburg injection molding machines • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Why Join Our Team?
