Job Title: Production OperatorJob DescriptionThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role does not require prior machine operating experience as training will be provided. Operators will work both individually and as part of a team.Responsibilities
• Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines. • Monitor machines during operation to ensure products meet quality standards. • Conduct regular in-process inspections for quality control. • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to resolve production issues. • Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality information. • Maintain a standard level of productivity and quality output, with a commitment to continuous improvement. • Follow safety protocols and properly use PPE to ensure a safe working environment. • Comply with cross-training and other training requirements. Essential Skills
• Production and machine operation skills. • Ability to use computers for entering activities in ERP systems. • Mechanical inclination and inspection skills. • Ability to set up and operate machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to speak and read English effectively. • Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements. • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and relevant manuals. • Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Strong time management capabilities. • Able to lift 25 lbs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
