CNC Machinist-$27-34/hour DIRECT HIRE Job DescriptionThis role focuses on operating CNC machinery in a new machine shop environment, preparing machines for production, loading materials, and overseeing machining operations. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient production while performing basic inspection of parts to maintain quality standards.Responsibilities
• Prepare CNC machines for production, including setup and basic adjustments. • Load materials and components into machines and ensure proper alignment and positioning. • Oversee machining operations to ensure parts are produced to specification. • Perform basic inspection of machined parts to verify dimensions and quality. • Monitor machine performance and report any issues or irregularities promptly. • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Collaborate with a small production team to meet daily and weekly output goals. • Support continuous improvement efforts in the new machine shop by providing feedback on processes and equipment. Essential Skills
• 2–3 years of machine operator experience in a machine shop environment. • Hands-on experience operating CNC or similar production machinery. • Ability to prepare, load, and oversee machine operations with minimal supervision. • Basic inspection skills to check parts for accuracy and quality. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety and quality procedures. • Ability to work effectively as part of a small production team. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The environment emphasizes safety, including the requirement to wear closed-toe shoes. The setting is collaborative yet offers substantial autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of your work while contributing to a close-knit team. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
