Job Title: Low Voltage TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking two dedicated low voltage technicians to perform electrical installations in Short Pump, focusing on Access Controls. This long-term position offers potential for contract or direct hire, depending on performance. Responsibilities • Perform low voltage electrical installation with Access Controls. • Pull wire, punch data jacks, and terminate CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cables. • Conduct RJ45 terminations and install keystone jacks. • Perform fiber pulling and fiber optic installations. • Dress and label cables effectively. • Install cable trays, J-hooks, and pathway installations. • Test cables using Fluke testing equipment. • Work within MDF/IDF closets and handle general labor tasks. Essential Skills • Minimum of 2+ years of construction experience. • Proven experience in pulling wire, installing, and terminating CAT 5/6 cables. • Experience with multi-meters and access controls. • Commercial construction and termination experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Reliable transportation is required. • Experience in pathway installations and cable testing. Work EnvironmentTechnicians will meet at job sites, working independently from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
