About this role

Job Title: ElectricianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on installing and completing electrical systems for large custom modular buildings such as schools, hospitals, banks, restaurants, and offices. You work as part of an in-house team of tradespeople, including plumbers, carpenters, welders, and laborers, to build each unit from start to finish. Electricians report directly to the site and follow blueprints to install commercial electrical systems in accordance with national codes. Responsibilities • Report to the designated site location and perform electrical work on modular building projects from start to finish. • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations in commercial structures. • Install electrical systems in commercial buildings in accordance with national electrical codes and company standards. • Run and pull electrical wire throughout modular units, ensuring proper routing and secure installation. • Bend and install conduit (including PVC and other materials) to protect and route electrical wiring. • Install electrical boxes, fixtures, and devices in the appropriate locations as specified in project plans. • Terminate wires into boxes, panels, and devices, ensuring safe, neat, and code-compliant connections. • Collaborate with plumbers, carpenters, welders, and laborers to coordinate installation activities and maintain efficient workflows. • Use appropriate hand tools and equipment safely while performing all electrical tasks. • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area in both indoor and outdoor settings. Essential Skills • 1–3 years of commercial electrical installation experience, preferably in modular or commercial building environments. • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. • Knowledge of national electrical codes and their application in commercial installations. • Proficiency in running and pulling electrical wire in commercial settings. • Experience bending and installing conduit, including conduit bending techniques. • Skill in installing electrical boxes, fixtures, and devices in accordance with plans and codes. • Ability to terminate wires into boxes, panels, and devices safely and accurately. • Competence using standard electrical hand tools and equipment. • Understanding of basic plumbing-related materials and layouts (PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron) sufficient to coordinate with other trades. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working on modular building projects or large commercial structures. • Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary trade teams, including plumbers, carpenters, welders, and laborers. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures. • Capability to travel occasionally to project finish locations to assist with assembling structures, when selected. • Reliable work ethic and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors as project needs require. Work EnvironmentWork takes place primarily at the main site, either inside a large hangar-style facility or in the yard once buildings are roughed in. The environment involves hands-on construction of modular units alongside plumbers, carpenters, welders, and laborers, using standard electrical hand tools and equipment. Most work is local at the central site, with occasional travel to project finish locations to help assemble the completed structures when selected. The setting combines indoor and outdoor conditions typical of a commercial construction and fabrication yard. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
