Job Title: Commercial CarpenterJob DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to join a commercial projects team as a skilled carpenter, focusing primarily on rough carpentry work. You will meet at the shop each morning and travel with the crew to various commercial job sites, contributing to projects that ramp up in the spring and stay busy through the holidays. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based on performance and attendance, providing steady work with a local, family-owned organization.Responsibilities

• Perform rough carpentry tasks on commercial construction projects, including framing and structural work. • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including tape measures, nailers, and saws. • Read and follow measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and installations. • Assist the commercial projects team with daily tasks and project needs on site. • Report to the shop each morning and travel with the crew to assigned commercial job locations. • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold days, while maintaining productivity and safety. • Follow all site safety protocols and use appropriate tools and equipment as required. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards. • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, organized, and working condition. • Demonstrate reliable attendance and strong work ethic to support contract-to-hire consideration. Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of construction experience. • Prior carpentry experience, specifically in rough carpentry and framing. • Proficient use of common hand tools used in construction and carpentry. • Experience operating power tools such as nailers and saws. • Ability to read and use tape measures accurately for precise measurements. • Comfort working on commercial construction sites in outdoor environments. • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry and construction. • Reliability in meeting at the shop daily and traveling with the crew to job sites. • Strong adherence to safety practices on active construction sites. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on commercial construction projects. • Familiarity with framing techniques and structural carpentry. • Using a variety of construction tools and equipment related to carpentry. • Ability to work effectively as part of a crew and follow direction from site leadership. • Willingness to learn and grow within a commercial carpentry team. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
