Job Title: WelderEssential Skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in welding or formal schooling in welding or metal fabrication. • Proficiency in MIG welding on carbon steel, including setup and operation of MIG welding equipment. • Experience setting up welding machines, including adjusting settings based on material thickness and joint design. • Ability to grind and polish welds to meet quality and aesthetic requirements. • Familiarity with reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints. • Experience working with carbon steel materials; exposure to aluminum is beneficial. • Ability to follow engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions accurately. • Strong focus on quality, with the ability to maintain required weld and dimensional specifications. • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility in taking on different tasks and projects. • Comfort working in an industrial manufacturing environment with varying shop temperatures. • Reliability in attendance and punctuality, especially for a 1st shift schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Formal welding or fabrication training from a technical school or career and technology center. • Experience with TIG welding, even if MIG is the primary process used. • Experience working with aluminum in addition to carbon steel. • Prior exposure to custom fabrication or job shop environments. • Ability to develop or work with component weld fixtures to improve consistency and efficiency. • Interest in mentoring others or growing into a leadership role over time. • Strong communication skills to work effectively with teammates and supervisors. • Openness to cross-training in related skills such as mechanical assembly or general fabrication. • Comfort working in a process-driven, safety-focused environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Honey Brook, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
