Job Title: 5 Axis CNC Machinist/OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled 5 Axis CNC Machinists/Operators to join our dynamic team with openings available on all shifts. You will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of 3, 4, and 5 axis machines to produce precision parts with conformance to specifications. This role offers 2nd or 3rd shift opportunities, with hours for 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:45am, and 3rd shift from Friday to Sunday, 4am to 4:30pm. Responsibilities • Set up and operate 5 & 3 axis machines, cutters, and work holding tools to produce precision parts. • Read and understand precision instruments to verify product conformance. • Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and portable CMM or FARO. • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines per setup documentation. • Measure, examine, or test completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance using precision instruments. • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. • Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. • Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine product conformance. • Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency. • Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs. • Consult with engineering, supervisory, or inspection personnel to verify technical information. • Fit and assemble fixtures and cutters to make or repair customer products. • Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. • Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes for improved efficiency or adaptability.
