About this role

Job Title: Electromechanical TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical production equipment and facility systems in a clean, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled environment. You will complete initial training on a day shift schedule before transitioning to a second shift role, supporting reliable, safe, and efficient operations across the facility.Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe operation. • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electrical control circuits, with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to failures. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and PLC logic to support troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications. • Assist with the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. • Use hand tools and test equipment to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on electromechanical systems. • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts usage, preventive maintenance activities, and completed work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes, company standards, and best practices during all maintenance activities. • Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, performance, and uptime. • Troubleshoot and service AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, and other control devices. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and recommending corrective actions or process enhancements. • Perform other related duties as needed to support the maintenance department and overall facility operations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danboro, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
