Job Title: Sanitation Technician – 2nd ShiftJob DescriptionThis role focuses on thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, machinery, and facility areas to support a safe, efficient, and compliant food production environment. You will follow established sanitation procedures, handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, and help ensure that all operations meet strict food safety and quality standards.Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and facility areas according to established procedures. • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed to perform thorough cleaning and sanitation. • Follow all sanitation procedures and chemical handling guidelines to ensure safe and effective cleaning. • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and tasks on time. • Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and internal company policies. • Properly use sanitation chemicals, tools, and cleaning equipment, and handle waste and disposal materials according to company procedures. • Document sanitation activities accurately and complete all required logs and paperwork. • Inspect equipment and work areas regularly to verify that cleanliness and sanitation standards are met. • Communicate maintenance issues, safety concerns, or equipment problems promptly to supervisors or appropriate personnel. • Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the production line and surrounding areas remain clean and safe throughout the shift. Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a production facility and primarily supports one production line. The role is on 2nd shift, working approximately 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, requiring extended periods of standing and regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will work around industrial production equipment, sanitation tools, and cleaning chemicals, following strict safety, quality, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and compliant environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
