Job Title: Production AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to work as a Production Assembler in a cleanroom environment on 3rd shift, supporting automated manufacturing processes in a climate-controlled, well-lit facility. You will contribute directly to the assembly and inspection of mechanical and electrical components used in automotive parts production while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. Responsibilities • Read and follow detailed work instructions accurately and consistently. • Perform visual inspection of in-process parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. • Stand for the entirety of the shift while performing production and assembly tasks. • Load and unload parts and materials into automated assembly machinery. • Regularly lift items up to 25 pounds as part of daily production activities. • Use hand tools to assemble basic mechanical and electrical components according to established procedures. • Operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. • Use basic computer skills to enter data, follow on-screen instructions, or access work-related information. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station and surrounding area in accordance with cleanroom standards. • Support general production, hand assembly, packaging, packing, machine operation, and inspection tasks as needed. • Follow cleanroom assembly protocols and procedures to protect product integrity. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures throughout the shift. Essential Skills • Experience in general production or manufacturing environments. • Background as a production assembler or in hand assembly work. • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions. • Proficiency with hand tools for basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. • Capability to perform visual inspection of parts to identify defects or inconsistencies. • Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment while standing for the entire shift. • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds safely. • Basic computer knowledge for simple data entry and navigation. • Experience with packaging, packing, and general labor tasks. • Familiarity with machine operation in a production setting. • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow cleanroom procedures. • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness at the work station. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Prior experience with cleanroom assembly or cleanroom manufacturing processes. • Experience in inspection and quality control activities within production environments. • Background in packaging and handling parts for automotive or similar industries. • Comfort using power tools in a production or assembly setting. • Ability to follow work instructions and visual inspection standards with minimal supervision. • Willingness to work straight eight-hour shifts plus one weekend day (Friday or Saturday depending on department). Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled, well-lit cleanroom within an automotive parts manufacturing facility. The work area is designed to be clean, organized, and comfortable, with strict cleanroom protocols to protect product quality. The position is on 3rd shift, working from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with an expectation of working a straight eight-hour shift plus one weekend day (Friday or Saturday depending on department). You will work around automated assembly machinery, hand tools, and power tools, performing general production, assembly, packaging, and inspection tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40456.00 - $44616.00/yr.
