Job Title: Warehouse / Forklift DriverJob DescriptionThis role supports a busy stockroom and warehouse by accurately pulling orders, handling materials, performing inventory checks, and using scan guns and computers to track inventory. You will operate forklifts, climb ladders, and bend to pick parts, while occasionally interacting with customers to pull their orders and load their vehicles with the parts they have purchased.Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders from the stockroom and warehouse using scan guns and RF scanners. • Load and unload materials, parts, and products from trucks and customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. • Perform material handling tasks, including organizing, staging, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse. • Conduct regular inventory checks and use computers to track stock levels, locations, and order status. • Operate forklifts to move pallets and materials, following all safety procedures and guidelines. • Climb ladders, bend, and reach to pick items from shelves and racks as needed. • Use RF scanners and scan guns to accurately scan, record, and update inventory and order information. • Provide courteous customer service when interacting with customers to pull their orders and load their vehicles. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including work areas, aisles, and storage locations. • Follow all warehouse procedures for order picking, order pulling, loading, and unloading. • Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders. • After the contract period, be willing to drive for the company as part of long-term employment needs. Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. • At least 6 months of warehouse experience. • Basic computer literacy and comfort using computers for inventory tracking. • Ability to safely climb ladders, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with order picking and material handling. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order pulling, scanning, and inventory updates. • Reliable work ethic and ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. • Willingness to work in both indoor warehouse areas and outdoor yard environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus; training is available for candidates with warehouse experience. • Experience using RF scanners or scan guns is a plus. • Comfort interacting with customers and providing basic customer service while loading orders. • Willingness to take on driving responsibilities for the company in the long term after the contract period. • Experience in loading, unloading, warehouse order picking, and inventory management is beneficial. • Experience in material handling within a distribution or warehouse environment is advantageous. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and occasional overtime, typically during the summer. You will work both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard, and you will be exposed to natural elements when loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles. The environment is hands-on and physically active, with regular use of forklifts, RF scanners, scan guns, and computers to manage inventory and orders. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of SALEM, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
