Dispatcher
Job Description: Responsible for assigning and scheduling shipments with specific carriers and performing related duties.
Additional Qualifications/Requirements: Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):
• MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - Required • TMW SUITE APPLICATIONS - Required
Job Qualifications: One year of supply chain or logistics experience.
Degree (one of):
• BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred Major/Minor (one of):
• GEN BUSINESS - Preferred If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.
Major Duties: Assign and schedule shipments with specific carriers. Prepare daily dispatch schedule.
Update/work in computer systems relating to freight movements. Coordinate with internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Challenges: Shift Work 24/7 365 days/year
