General Manager (Dual)
Job Description: Supervises facility managers at all Exchange facilities within a designated geographic region. Manages multiple store managers and adjusts sales goals and procedure as appropriate for the store based on goals set by region leadership. Performs duties of store manager for primary facility, typically a main store.As a volume-based position, grading is dependent on maintaining sales in accordance with published Volume Standards.

Work – Onsite (Hanscom AFB - Massachusetts) • Remote/Telework not authorized per Presidential Memorandum “Return to In Person Work” PCS authorized for eligible associates in 2027. Relocation entitlements/allowances may vary.
Job Qualifications: Five years of progressive retail/food/services management experience. One year of experience must include the following within the last five years: Main Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales & Merchandise Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, Exchange Business Manager, Or Branch Store.
Associate must obtain General Manager contracting authority within 7 days of assuming this role.
Or
Bachelor's degree and three years of progressive retail/food/services management experience. One year of experience must include the following within the last five years: Main Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales & Merchandise Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, Exchange Business Manager, or Branch Store.
Associate must obtain General Manager contracting authority within 7 days of assuming this role.

Major Duties: Manages financial analysis, budgeting, and business planning activities. Monitors performance of staff to ensure goals and targets are met. Takes corrective actions as necessary. Oversees the daily operations of the Exchange. Interacts with retail, food, services, human resources, and loss prevention to ensure execution of programs. Interacts with military command elements which include command meetings (town hall, weekly, staff meetings), real property, master planning and protocol. Develops, trains, coaches, and mentors managers and associates for future development. Performs other duties as assigned.
