Global Process Owner Director
Job Description: Position Purpose The Global Process Owner (GPO) is accountable for the end-to-end performance, design, and continuous improvement of global processes across the enterprise within a Global Business Services (GBS) operating model. The role owns process strategy, governance, standardization, and transformation to ensure processes are scalable, compliant, customer-centric, and aligned with business objectives. This role serves as the single point of accountability for process outcomes across regions, business units, service centers, and third-party providers.
Primary Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end global process(es) (e.g., Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Hire to Retire), including strategy, performance, design, and continuous improvement. • Define and maintain the global process vision, roadmap, and target operating model aligned with business strategy, GBS objectives, and functional leadership priorities. • Establish global standards, policies, controls, and process documentation to support consistency, scalability, and compliance. • Establish and chair global process governance forums to drive decision-making, alignment, and accountability across in-scope teams, regions, and vendors. • Define and monitor process KPIs, SLAs, and value metrics, including cost, quality, cycle time, and customer or stakeholder experience. • Ensure regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements are embedded in processes and sustained across all operating environments. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve operational and service performance. • Identify and prioritize automation, digitalization, and analytics opportunities, including RPA, workflow, AI, and ERP optimization. • Partner with IT, Data, and Transformation teams to deliver process enhancements and own the related business cases and value realization. • Serve as the primary interface between PBS, business units, functions, IT, and external providers, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority. • Manage change impacts and communications across an enterprise, matrixed organization to support adoption, process adherence, and capability maturity. • Partner with PBS delivery leaders to ensure consistent execution of global processes and support vendor selection, onboarding, and performance management from a process perspective. • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • 8-15+years in accounting, process management, shared services, GBS, or functional leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree/MBA • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
