Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a Junior Facility Engineer to support mission-critical High-Performance Computing (HPC) operations at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Working under the guidance of the SME Facility Engineer, this position will focus primarily on facility monitoring, maintenance, inspections, and repair coordination. This is a full-time, 100% on-site position. Responsibilities include: • Monitor electrical, mechanical, cooling, backup power, and facility monitoring systems. • Conduct routine inspections, document findings, and report abnormal conditions. • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with Civil Engineering, contractors, and vendors. • Develop and maintain an understanding of critical facility system dependencies, redundancy, capacity, and equipment operating configurations. • Initiate and track facility work requests through completion. • Support equipment troubleshooting, outage response, and corrective actions. • Maintain equipment records, drawings, procedures, and maintenance documentation. • Provide support for equipment installations and infrastructure upgrades. • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond after hours or on weekends to facility emergencies, outages, and critical equipment issues.

Required Skills and Education: • High school diploma and at least four years of relevant work experience; equivalent experience may substitute for education. • Experience in facility operations, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, construction, utilities, or a similar technical environment. • Basic troubleshooting, communication, computer, and documentation skills. • Ability to work full-time on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB. • Willing and able to provide after-hours and weekend on-call support as required. • Must have at least an Interim Secret Clearance to Start

Preferred Skills and Education: • Technical Bachelor’s Degree, certification, apprenticeship, or military training in a related field. • Experience with generators, UPS systems, HVAC, chillers, pumps, electrical distribution, or building automation systems. • Experience in a data center, mission-critical facility, industrial, or DoW environment. • Current active security clearance.
