Location: Spring Meadow Primary School
Hours: 8.50am to 3.20pm, Term Time Only

As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, we are investing in additional support staff to support our pupils’ success. We are looking for a passionate, resilient and inclusive Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and help to create an engaging learning environment that supports both academic progress and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support for pupils, including those with SENDDeliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groupsSupport pupils’ academic, social and emotional developmentAssist with the planning and adaptation of learning activitiesPromote positive behaviour and engagement in learningWork collaboratively with teachers, Senior Leadership, SENCo and external professionalsHelp create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environmentSupport pupils with personal care where requiredHelp create a safe, structured, and positive learning environmentPromote pupils’ emotional wellbeing and inclusion across the school dayThe Ideal Candidate

Is patient, caring and able to build positive relationships with pupilsHas a good understanding of inclusive practice and strategies to support learningIs able to adapt support to meet a range of needs, including communication and behaviourHas strong teamwork and communication skillsIs proactive, flexible and willing to learnIs committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenHas some experience of working with children with SEND (desirable)What we offer:
