About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable, proactive and practical Facilities Assistant to join our dedicated team.
You will play an important role in helping to keep our school safe, secure, welcoming and well-maintained. Working as part of the facilities team, you will support a variety of tasks across the school site, including general maintenance, groundskeeping, health and safety, and support for school events and hires.
What You'll DoSupport the general upkeep of school facilities, including basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs.Work alongside a dedicated team to help maintain high standards of health and safety across the school site.Assist with groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance to ensure the school environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.Support school events and room hires by helping with set-up, clear-away and ensuring areas are safe and secure.Work as part of the wider facilities team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.Hours & Days of WorkWe operate two rotating shift patterns:
06:00 - 14:0014:00 - 22:00You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required to provide cover for weekend colleagues.
