In this role, I'll be involved in delivering precise radiotherapy treatments using advanced equipment and techniques, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care. I'll work alongside fellow Therapy Radiographers, Clinical Specialists, Physicists, Dosimetrists, Oncologists, and wider multidisciplinary teams to create a seamless and supportive experience for our patients.
What you'll be doing:
Provide safe, effective and compassionate radiotherapy care to patients throughout their treatment pathway.Perform complex radiotherapy procedures and demonstrate competence in the use of relevant treatment modalities and equipment.Recognise and respond appropriately to treatment-related side effects, deterioration and clinical emergencies.Maintain patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality. Competent with the technical and clinical aspects of radiotherapy as delivered within the Clinic.Keep abreast of latest technical and scientific advancements within the radiotherapy field.Participate in implementation of new technologies and service developments.Investigate and resolve problems on patient clinical issues.Provide advice and support to the service as commensurate with gradeMaintain state registration with the HCPC. What're we looking for? DCR (T) or BSc Radiotherapy or UK recognised equivalentState Registration with HCPCEvidence of CPD activities commensurate with the post roles and responsibilitiesBroad post qualification clinical experience in all aspects of radiotherapyPractical experience of a wide range of radiotherapy equipment, technique and practice including SABR, SRS, SGRT and gating
