Job summary
We have an exciting role to work within the medical recruitment team at Dorset County Hospital for a fixed term of 12 months. This would involve recruiting doctors of all grades across all services, as well as supporting the intake of all Resident doctors throughout the year.
We are looking for a confident, committed team member who has excellent administrative skills and enjoys working in a unique fast-pacedenvironment. This role involves supporting advertising, arranging interviews, submitting offers and completing employment checks for newmembers of our Trust.
Potential interview date 6th October 2026.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will:
Support line managers to effectively and efficiently recruit. Use our e-recruitment systems to swiftly and proactively recruit candidates Promote and deliver a high quality service to all our service users Participate in a remote working/ in office hybrid rota Participate in recruitment events
To succeed in this role you will have:
Experience of working in a customer focused/administrative environment Solid experience of undertaking a range of administrative tasks and competence in various computer systems Ability to manage your own workload working both independently and towards team goals Ability to manage competing priorities

Person Specification
Education, Qualifications and Training Essential
GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or demonstrable literacy and numeracy through work experience
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment Experience undertaking administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable
Experience working within recruitment, HR or workforce administration Experience supporting recruitment campaigns, events or attraction activities Experience using social media or digital communication channels in a professional setting Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic systems/databases
