We have a brilliant opportunity for a confident and focussed Category Buyer, who is eager to take on a new challenge working within our Procurement team. Key responsibilities include: Drive and delivery of best ‘Total Cost of Acquisition.’ Achieve year on year cost reduction based on predetermined KPIs. Develop and implement top level commodity strategies Work closely with current an new supply chains driving and delivering key strategic projects Sourcing and approval of new suppliers Work closely with Willerby’s Supplier Quality Team in the development and implementation of new products Work with supply partners to achieve Lean Manufacturing Work with key internal stakeholders to bring about improvements Conduct supplier and commodity risk assessments, developing robust contingency plans Assisting the relevant parties in the resolution of supply chain problems.
