Job Title: Specialist SHE Band Level: 10/11 Division: Sales & Marketing Location: JHB KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Ensure compliance of TSAM-EMS against ISO14001 EMS Standard Manage Environmental Section of TSAM SHE&F Sharepoint site Develop/ Establish new environmentally related Management Systems as required in conjunction with relevant PIC (E.g. ISO50001 Energy Management System) Coordinate internal and external EMS Audits Support ECO Patrol Audits as required Monitor Significant Environmental Process Area Management compliance Legal compliance and OSHMS audits Training (EMS, SAFETY) Performance Reporting (ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY) OSHMS implementation & maintenance Promote and guide on safety culture establishment & improvement. Contractor safety Incident Prevention Risk Assessment & Risk Reduction QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: NQF 7 in environmental sciences or engineering. Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management, and H&S Management in supervisory capacity (essential). Sound understanding of environmental legal requirements and developments. Sound understanding of OHS Act & regulations Thorough understanding and hands on implementation and auditing experience on ISO 14001 and Environmental Management Systems in a corporate environment. Experience in people and project management. Sound computer skills, particularly Microsoft packages.
