Job Title: Assistant Manager Occupational Hygiene Band Level: 8/9 Division: SHE&F Location: DBN KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Prepare Plant for planned AIA risk assessment & monitoring Coordinate, facilitate and report AIA observations & measurements results Log exposure investigation request in EIR tracker Complete Section C of EIR through consultation of historic AIA reports Workplace investigations for associated exposure information Compile annual TSAM Report Complete and Implement MSP document and outcome Training and/or coordinate training of target groups for Noise and HCA Exposure Legal compliance and OSHMS audits PPE Compliance Work observations (Std work, unsafe behaviour, non-standard processes. Risk Assessment & Risk Mapping QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Relevant NQF 5 (540 Credits), Preferably in safety or hygiene management, environmental science, chemistry, biology Sound understanding of OHS Act & regulations Minimum – 1-3 years (Post Qualification) in H&S function, occupational hygiene preferably Computer skills (particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint) Incident Investigation-Root cause analysis Presentation / training skills Communication skills Ability to work independently with highly motivated approach COMPETENCIES: Accurate information gathering and analysis Awareness and commitment to our mission Awareness of situations and decisiveness Communication and sharing of mid to long term plans Creation of innovative vision Establishing framework and systems for Organizational learning Feedback of evaluation results and Long-Term Development of Individuals Perseverance Strategic Reallocation of Resources and Review of Work Methods Suitable Assignment and Objective Performance Review Please forward applications to our Internal Careers Website .
