Who we’re looking for We are seeking an experienced and proactive Platform Risk Analyst to join the Business Management team in Luxembourg. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across operational risk management, business continuity and resilience management, third-party oversight and governance reporting within a regulated and diverse Asset Management business. For the Luxembourg entity (Schroder Investment Management (Europe) S.A. or “SIM EU”) and its branches, the successful candidate will support the identification, documentation and escalation of key risks, working closely with first line functions (such as Client Group, Investment, Product), support functions such as Technology and Finance, as well as second and third line functions (Compliance, Operational Risk and Internal Audit). The role will play an important part in maintaining SIM EU's operational risk framework and supporting ongoing regulatory compliance obligations. At functional level, the role will sit within the Global Fund Platform which in turn forms part of the Global Operating Platform. The successful candidate will functionally report into the Head of Operations Risk and Control, ensuring all relevant risks within the Global Fund Platform are defined, managed and reported into functional MI, supported with key insights and identification of opportunities and threats. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies. What you’ll do Operational Risk & Governance
• Coordinate and facilitate risk and control assessments (RCA) across the Luxembourg entity and Global Fund Platform. • Support the maintenance and enhancement of the operational risks and control framework. • Monitor operational risk events, issues and remediation activities. • Analyse risk themes, incidents and emerging risks and support appropriate escalation where required. • Track audit findings, regulatory actions and management actions through to completion. • Prepare management information, risk reporting and governance materials for local Management Committees, Boards and other governance forums. Business Continuity & Operational Resilience
• Coordinate annual Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) reviews. • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Luxembourg Platform business continuity framework. • Coordinate and support business continuity and resilience testing exercises, where required. • Work with business and technology teams to identify and document critical services, dependencies and recovery requirements. • Track business continuity-related remediation actions and lessons learned from testing and incidents. Dora & ICT Risk Management
• Coordinate DORA ICT service applicability and criticality assessment processes. • Support the maintenance and quality assurance of the DORA Register of Information. • Coordinate evidence collection and documentation required for regulatory, audit and governance purposes. • Support ongoing monitoring of DORA implementation and business-as-usual compliance activities. • Work closely with Technology, Procurement and business collaborators on ICT risks matters. Third-Party Oversight
• Support implementation of the local Third-Party Oversight Framework. • Coordinate third-party risk assessment activities and periodic oversight reviews. • Maintain documentation and evidence supporting oversight activities. • Assist with identifying potential regulatory notification requirements relating to outsourcing and ICT third-party arrangements. Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
• Build and maintain effective working relationships across local Platform, Global Operating Platform, and Group functions. • Coordinate activities across multiple collaborators and workstreams. • Promote awareness of Platform operational risks and governance requirements. • Find opportunities for improvement in execution, automation and improved reporting. • Contribute to central initiatives supporting operational resilience and regulatory compliance. Who we’re looking for Experience
• At least 3 years of experience within operational risk, business continuity, audit, compliance, governance or a related rigor. • Experience working within the financial services industry or another highly regulated environment. • Experience facilitating risk assessments, workshops and governance activities. • Exposure to business continuity management, DORA, ICT risk management or third-party risk management would be advantageous. • Experience supporting regulatory, audit or governance processes. • Strong understanding of operational risk management principles and governance practices. • Good understanding of business continuity concepts. • Knowledge of DORA requirements and ICT risk management principles is desirable. • Excellent collaborator management and communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to manage several priorities and deliver to deadlines. • Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare materials for senior management and governance forums. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation.
