We're seeking a data-driven, business-savvy Sales Operations Data Analyst to own and enhance our dashboarding ecosystem using modern BI tools. This role will empower Workato's Sales and Revenue Operations teams with actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:Design, build, and maintain scalable data structures (data marts and star schemas) for SalesOps metrics and performance reportingServe as a data point of contact for key sales systems including Salesforce, BoostUp, and other SalesOps tools, ensuring data extraction is clean, accurate, and optimized for analysisDevelop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and data logic using dbt on Snowflake to support Sales Analytics reportingDesign, build, and manage Sigma dashboards and reports to visualize key sales performance indicators and support strategic decision-makingBuild and curate well-modeled, well-documented datasets designed to be consumed by AI tools (e.g., Claude) so the business can self-serve answers to sales data questionsSupport annual account assignment and territory planning processes with data modeling and analysisThink proactively about how to scale custom reporting as sales data needs grow, rather than building one-off point solutionsStay current on AI-driven analytics approaches and bring ideas for how AI can improve sales data workflows, reporting, and decision-makingCollaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate business requirements into technical data solutionsEnsure the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of sales data across integrated SalesOps platformsDocument data flows and business logic, and maintain high standards through peer review of data transformation codeTroubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve systemic data quality issues within SalesOps systemsRequirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical SkillsMinimum 2 years of professional experience, with meaningful time spent in a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Intelligence role within a SaaS companyWorking knowledge of key SalesOps platforms and their data models, including Salesforce (required) and tools like BoostUpProficiency in SalesOps data tools, including dbt, Snowflake, and SQLExperience structuring and organizing sales data (e.g., star schemas, data marts) for business metrics and KPIsDemonstrated proficiency in creating high-impact visualizations and reports using Sigma (or a comparable BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI)Ability to translate sales strategies and business processes into scalable, reliable data solutionsGood communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with both technical (Data Engineering/IT) and non-technical (Sales/Marketing) stakeholdersBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science)Experience supporting annual account assignments and/or territory planning is a plusUnderstanding of agile methodologies(REQ ID: 2687)
