About this role
Reporting to the Head of Estates Management and working closely with the Director of Estates and key stakeholders the Space Manager & Estates Business Partner will be the authoritative lead service owner for space management and will hold full responsibility for the planning and implementation of all changes in the allocation of space, aligning with the strategic ambitions of the department, and university more broadly. As Space Manager, you will be a key advisor to the Estates Leadership Team and University Executive, providing strategic expertise on the governance, planning and effective utilisation of space. As Estates Business Partner, you will work closely with Heads of Schools and Services, you will assess and plan space requirements against University standards, analyse future demand, and develop and deliver the University’s space strategy. You will also ensure that all space planning and design align with University design standards, masterplans and agreed aesthetics, helping to create coherent, welcoming and high-quality campuses.
