Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the operational leadership team in the South Gloucestershire Locality supporting the Community Nursing teams within the Integrated Network Teams (INT's).
The Integrated Network Teams (INT's) are integral to supporting our people of South Gloucestershire to age well - they provide a full range of nursing and therapy skills to prevent unnecessary admission; facilitate discharge and provide planned intervention to help people to remain safe, well and as independent as possible in their own home.
Our INT's deliver out of hospital care to people in their own homes, care homes or community clinics. We provide both planned and unplanned care during the hours of 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.
Your role will include day to day operational management and be key to maintaining and improving the performance of the INT's; leading by example you will support the growth and development of our teams and the individual staff within them.

Main duties of the job
Your primary purpose will be to support the Assistant Locality Manager and Locality Manager in leading the Integrated Network Teams (INTs) and senior clinicians in the planning, delivery, improvement and development of a range of clinical services. You will support a number of projects that will contribute to the achievement of service objectives and wider organisational goals in line with the service specifications for BNSSG Adult Community Services Contract.
Your role will be key to maintaining and improving the performance of the INTs, care to service users, supporting and developing staff and the resultant impact on the organisation as a whole. You will be required to lead by example to gain the best from services and staff, ensuring they are supported to remain engaged, positively challenged and effective.

Professional qualification in Health and current professional registration

Post graduate management/leadership training qualification or willingness to undertake

Operational management experience and experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in variety of locations Demonstrates good problem solving and decision making skills, evidence of ability to make informed decisions Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures Able to demonstrate leadership skills, credibility, integrity and ability to manage through change
