Education and qualifications Essential

oProven computer literacy oGood standard of general education (including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent)

Desirable

oRSA II or equivalent typing oAMSPAR Certificate

Experience and knowledge Essential

oPrevious experience as PA or secretary/administration experience

Desirable

oPrevious NHS or related environment oCustomer care experience oMedical terminology

Skills and abilities Essential

oTouch typing oAble to demonstrate skills that ensure tasks are completed accurately and within a given timeframe. oAccurate keyboard skills

Desirable

oAudio typing oAble to take minutes. oUnderstanding of databases oKnowledge of the hospital administration system
