Job summary
Suffolk GP Federation are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care whilst leading and supporting our dedicated primary care nursing team.This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday based across the Unity sites: Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.
We're looking for someone with a passion for healthcare, strong general practice experience, and the ability to inspire and guide the team to excellence.

Main duties of the job
You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to-day basis You will foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team You will lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authoritys requirements You will champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing serviceWe will make sure you are fully inducted. Its important to us that you feel safe and supported in your role.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
A relevant nursing degree. Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
Experience Essential
Youll need proven experience of working in primary care You will need experience in managing a team
