About this role
DescriptionClient is building a team of AEM Developers to migrate AEM websites from a recently acquired company onto their CMS platform. This project runs through May 2027 and will require the following team members: 3x AEM FE developer2x AEM Backend Developer1x AEM Senior Full stack Developer* Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle.* Work with adjacent development teams to implement integrated technical solutions.* Develop front-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards including site structure, page templates, navigation and the site information architecture.* Build AEM authoring components and templates* Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needs.* Utilize AEM to layout pages, troubleshoot issues, and train authors of the system.* Assign tasks and coordinate with offshore resources.* Partner with Visual Design and User Experience teams to develop effective/engaging designs.* Utilize reusable templates and common HTML elements while leveraging centralized JQuery/JavaScript libraries and global CSS.* Use a shared standards library to be used by all web teams.* Help with day-to-day operational tasks and assist in ensuring the quality of our website.* Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, videos, web site performance - including but not limited to:* Triage issues in those areas* Prioritize enhancement stories* Develop features for those areas of responsibilitySkillsJava, Development, Azure, AEM, Javascript, adobe experience manager, Sql, Cloud, AgileTop Skills DetailsJava,Development,Azure,AEM,Javascript,adobe experience managerAdditional Skills & Qualifications• AEM 6.5.20• Core Java skills preferred (21)• JavaScript• HTML3 / CSS• Needs to be able to problem solve all potential front end challenges.• Being handed a design and needs to convert to the working website• Needs to be able to test site and hand off code to team• This role needs to be very independent.Experience LevelIntermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
