This role involves researching and analysing company financial data for Fundamental’s product in support of the EMEA markets. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret financial data disclosed by companies, ensuring accurate extraction, tagging, and representation of information in accordance with established data policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Review and structure financial disclosure data, including segment reporting information, to establish and maintain a consistent and logical data hierarchy.
• Perform quality assurance activities by applying quality control tools, incorporating feedback, and continuously validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Maintain and deliver high-quality, accurate financial data to client-facing platforms within defined timelines, ensuring adherence to business-critical service level expectations and turnaround times.
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality and operational efficiency by identifying process enhancements and proactively addressing data integrity issues. Financial Data Processing Responsibilities • Analyse and extract company performance data from financial statement such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of all the listed companies globally, both in English and French language
• Standardize the data available in Income statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement in accordance with the collection policy
• Work within various global accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS etc. Essential • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or relevant work experience
• Fluent in English and French.
• An understanding of the components of financial statements
• Customer focus, Problem solver with excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly and work to tight and conflicting deadlines
• Speed and accuracy when processing data with a high level of attention to detail
• While previous professional experience is not required, all candidates must meet the specified educational criteria and demonstrate the core skills outlined for this role
