City/State South Boston, VA Work Shift Rotating Overview: Sentara Halifax Regional Medical Center is hiring a Cook Full-Time 40 hours, rotating schedule

Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.

Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required; related experience may be accepted in lieu of diploma)

Certification: Food Handlers Card (as required by local Health Department).

Experience: Minimum of two years cooking in fine dining or heatlhcare setting (Preferred) Sentara Healthcare offers outstanding benefits.
