Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee all inbound warehouse functions, including receiving, unloading, inspection, and product put-away.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with receiving documentation, vendor requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor inbound KPIs such as dock-to-stock time, receiving accuracy, and vendor compliance.
• Provide direct management of receiving employees, ensuring training and development opportunities.
• Optimize labor schedules and manage departmental expenses.
• Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and quality teams to address discrepancies or vendor issues.
• Implement process improvements for inbound efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local receiving regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized inbound work areas.
• Partner with operations and IT to improve inbound reporting and automation.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business preferred (equivalent experience acceptable).
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse or inbound logistics.
• Strong knowledge of receiving and inbound processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
