About Our ClientsOur client is a fast-growing, health-focused direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand specializing in high-quality, plastic-free replacement straws for leading water bottle brand. Founded to solve hygiene and sustainability issues in everyday hydration products, the company focuses on eliminating plastic use, improving health safety through stainless steel materials, and delivering precision-fit solutions for consumers.
They are looking for a Shopify Operator to take ownership of day-to-day business operations and support the company’s scaling efforts.
ResponsibilitiesManage daily Shopify store operations, including product listings, catalog updates, and backend maintenanceOversee customer service workflows and ensure timely resolution of issuesHandle inventory tracking, forecasting, and coordination with suppliersManage purchase orders (POs), supplier communications, and shipment trackingCoordinate with vendors to ensure stock availability and timely fulfillmentBuild and maintain dashboards to track performance (sales, inventory, CAC, etc.)Analyze business data and translate insights into actionable improvementsMaintain records of invoices, expenses, and basic bookkeeping tasksSupport financial tracking and reporting accuracyAssist in onboarding new tools, software, and marketplacesSupport wholesale lead generation and managementCollaborate across marketing, SEO, and media buying initiativesIdentify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable systemsOwn internal organization, documentation, and workflow optimizationRequirements
Ideally, 5–10 years of total work experience in a fast-paced, unstructured environmentDTC e-commerce operations with physical products is required2–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations or business operationsStrong hands-on experience with ShopifySolid understanding of end-to-end DTC operationsExperience with data analysis and dashboard creationFamiliarity with inventory management and logistics workflowsBasic knowledge of accounting principles (POs, invoices, tracking)Understanding of marketing, SEO, copywriting, and media buying fundamentalsAbility to connect operational insights with business performanceHighly organized with strong multitasking abilitySelf-starter with strong ownership mindsetComfortable working remotely and managing multiple prioritiesWilling to work 40–50 hours per week, with 2–3 hours expected over weekends as neededAble to align with PST (Pacific Time) working hours for the first 2 months during onboardingBenefits
