About this role
Job Summary: Operational Excellence supervisor role reporting to Ian Francis. You will be expected to manage a multi disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab and provide continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning and Execution.
• Supervise their safety in manufacturing environment • Responsible for employee safety training and compliance to expectations • Direct and coordinate the development activities for team • Own execution to all quality and delivery expectations including, but not limited to, product inspections and Equipment PMs • Provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction for the Supervisors direct reports • Schedule shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer • Own Equipment PM performance metrics on shift • Own Sustainer Disposition metrics on shift • Develop training plans and staffing requirements for direct reports • Drive projects & achieve goals for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics • Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure quality work is performed • Teach, coach and mentor through development of the cultural attributes of Total Quality • Provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager
Job Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred • BS or equivalent in a related field is preferred but not required. • Must have demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making • Understanding of business and management principles and practices preferred • Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures preferred • Must be proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams • Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality • Previous leadership/supervision experience is a plus • Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience is a plus
