Job Description: Leadership and Management:
• Lead and manage the overall operations of the Examination Department. • Supervise examination staff and provide guidance on roles and responsibilities. • Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Examination Planning and Execution:
• Oversee the preparation and approval of examination schedules and timetables. • Coordinate with academic departments for paper setting and moderation. • Ensure timely and secure printing, storage, and distribution of exam papers.
Examination Conduct and Monitoring:
• Ensure proper logistics for exam venues and invigilation arrangements. • Address and resolve any examination irregularities or misconduct cases. • Monitor examination proceedings to uphold academic integrity.
Result Management and Reporting:
• Review and validate examination results before official release. • Ensure accurate result processing and address discrepancies as needed. • Lead the preparation of reports and documentation for the Examination Board.
Policy Development and Compliance:
• Formulate and update examination policies and procedures. • Ensure alignment with accreditation and quality assurance standards. • Conduct periodic audits to evaluate examination processes.
Stakeholder Communication and Support:
• Liaise with academic departments, faculty, and administrative units. • Handle examination-related queries from students and staff. • Provide support during audits, inspections, and academic reviews.
Job Requirement: Education:
• Bachelor degree in Education, Administration, or a related field. • Master’ degree qualification is an added advantage.
Knowledge and Experiences:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in academic or examination management. Proven leadership in managing academic or administrative units.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent understanding of examination regulations and academic policies. • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and academic management systems. • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Technical skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Experience with student information or examination management systems
Special skills required
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of examination documents and data.
