About this role

Job Description

• Assess the medical condition of patient. • Assess the medical condition of patient. • Liaise with all consultants, nursing and clinical staff

• Attend to all emergency cases in both A&E and wards

• Explain to patient the preliminary diagnosis prior referring to the consultants for admission

• Cooperate with Medical Officer Incharge to arrange roster

• To do locum if required

• Sharing knowledge with the nursing team

• Ensure to actively participate in all 5S activities

• Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced

• Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times.

• Ensure compliance to Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)

• To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:

• · To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;

• To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge o any duty;

• To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer; · To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.

• Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards

• Perform any other duties assigned by the HOS
