Basic Set Up/Logistics:
• Saturday Academy will run from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, based on need. Staff will report at 7:30 am for set up.
• The staffing will be based on need each weekend. Generally, only 3 staff will report on a rotating basis.
• The calendar of dates will be set up on a shared Google Doc where students will be added as offenses occur. Reminders will be sent out weekly (on Thursdays) for students who need to attend on the forthcoming Saturday.
• Contact information for students assigned to the next Saturday Academy will be provided to a supervisor the day before, in addition to a sign-in sheet.
• Saturday Academy staff will be expected to reach out to teachers to ask for missing/assigned work and/or re-teach/enrichment activities.
• Transportation to and from Saturday Academy will be the sole responsibility of the student and his/her parents or guardians.
• In case of a snow day on a Friday, Saturday Academy will be canceled. Saturday Academy does not run on long weekends or over school vacations.
• Teachers (Unit A) preferred, but other staff will be considered as needed.
• $50 per hour (7:30-8:00 at non-student facing rate of $40/hour)
