Make a difference where it matters most—inside the classroom. In this role, you will actively support students in the general education setting, including those receiving inclusion services, helping them grow both academically and behaviorally. You will partner closely with the classroom teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction while ensuring every student feels supported, challenged, and capable of success.
Instructional Support: -Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities -Work with small groups of students to reinforce skills and concepts -Support students during independent and guided practice -Provide accommodations and modifications as directed by the teacher Inclusion Support: -Assist students receiving special education services within the general education setting -Support implementation of IEP accommodations and goals -Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher and support staff -Help ensure inclusion minutes are met with fidelity Classroom Management: -Support a positive, structured, and respectful learning environment -Assist with behavior management strategies and redirection -Actively monitor students to ensure engagement and safety Campus Expectations: -Maintain confidentiality of student information -Assist with arrival, dismissal, transitions, and supervision duties as needed -Remain actively engaged with students at all times (no downtime) -Support campus initiatives and uphold high expectations for all students Additional Duties: -Prepare instructional materials and resources -Assist with clerical tasks as needed -Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development -Perform other duties as assigned by the campus administration
