Dept./School: Assigned Department/Campus Hourly Rate: Based on assignment and relevant experience

This is a part-time temporary position. Work schedule, hours, and duration are based on department or campus needs. Primary Purpose: Provide temporary clerical and administrative support to an assigned district department or campus. Perform routine office functions, including document scanning and filing, data entry, telephone and communication support, scheduling, records organization, and preparation of materials. Assist assigned staff with day-to-day administrative tasks to support efficient department or campus operations. Qualifications: Education and Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Clerical, administrative, customer service, or office support experience (preferred)

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic knowledge of general office procedures and records organization

• Proficient organizational and interpersonal skills

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, scanners, copiers, and multiline telephone systems

• Ability to use common productivity software, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

• Ability to perform routine data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records

• Ability to organize work, follow instructions, and complete assigned tasks within established timelines

• Ability to work independently within assigned responsibilities and seek clarification when needed

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment

Key Responsibilities: Clerical and Records Support

• Scan, copy, file, organize, and maintain documents and records as assigned

• Perform routine data entry and update electronic or paper records using established procedures

• Prepare, sort, organize, and distribute documents, correspondence, forms, mail, and other materials

• Assist with preparation of spreadsheets, reports, lists, labels, packets, and other routine office materials

• Review assigned documents and records for completeness and refer discrepancies or questions to appropriate staff

Communication and Scheduling

• Answer and route incoming telephone calls and messages and provide routine information as appropriate

• Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, interviews, conferences, or other department activities

• Communicate professionally with district staff, applicants, parents, community members, and other stakeholders as applicable to the assignment

• Assist with email, correspondence, and other routine communications under the direction of assigned staff

Office and Administrative Support

• Provide general clerical and administrative assistance to assigned staff and department or campus operations

• Assist with organization of files, workspaces, supplies, materials, and other office resources

• Support meetings, projects, events, and other administrative activities as assigned

• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee, student, departmental, and other sensitive information

• Complete assigned work in accordance with established district procedures and supervisor direction

Additional Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and expectations as outlined in the employee handbook and administrative regulations

• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures

• Participate in professional development, faculty/department meetings, and special events as assigned

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the department and district
