POSITION: After School Security (stipend) LOCATION: Rogers High School REPORTS TO: Building Principal or Designee SCHOOL YEAR: 2026-2027 (One Year Only) JOB DESCRIPTION: Rogers High School is seeking reliable and responsible staff members to supervise after-school events, athletic games, and student activities. This position ensures that all school-sponsored events are conducted in a safe, orderly, and positive environment for students, families, and guests. QUALIFICATIONS: Current employee of Newport Public Schools preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to maintain composure and sound judgment in dynamic settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise students, spectators, and guests during after-school events, games, and activities.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, restrooms, and other designated areas to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Support event logistics, including set-up and clean-up as needed.
• Communicate promptly with administrators or security staff regarding any concerns or incidents.
• Represent the school positively and model respectful and professional behavior at all times.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, including the student code of conduct and cell phone policy.
• Remain visible and engaged throughout the duration of the assigned event.
